Future Trends : School Design 2

Cal Poly Students in Kevin O'Brien's advanced returned this year for another collaboration with students at Palm Crest Elementary in the La Canada Unified School District. This year the studio worked with a team of very bright and engaged second graders, on a design for 'NextLab', a next-generation classroom.

During the 3-week exercise, Cal Poly students worked closely with their second grade team to develop five unique solutions to the problem. The projects were then presented to their class and teachers.
